What? A series of workshops run with primary school children at two Romani caravan sites:
Cardiff, Roverway.
Ebbw Vale, Nantyglo.
How often? On a weekly basis with groups of up to 12 children aged 6 – 12 years old.
How long? 60 min per session with 30 mins room setup time.
How? Each week a different theme was explored. The most popular workshop was the making and decorating of origami boats with the Romani flag, and then placing them on water. The children took pride in their boat floating and compared each other’s boats sturdiness.
